Pilates

Pilates (pronounced: puh-lah-teez) improves your mental and physical well-being, increases flexibility, and strengthens muscles.

Pilates uses controlled movements in the form of mat exercises or equipment to tone and strengthen the body. For decades, it's been the exercise of choice for dancers and gymnasts (and now Hollywood actors).

Pilates focuses on abdominal muscles, that creates a strong core physique and seeks to build flexibility, strength, endurance, and coordination without adding muscle bulk.

People who do pilates regularly feel they have better posture, are less prone to injury, and experience better overall health.

Each exercise is performed with relatively few repetitions and the student is urged to pay heightened attention to proper form and active breathing.

Body flex is a form of exercise which combines deep breathing with stretching positions. Doing toning exercise while breathing aerobically helps to develop your muscles and lose weight. According to some experts, most of the body dysfunctions are the result of the oxygen deficiency in our tissues. Therefore, this type of exercise helps to address this deficiency, promotes faster burning of fat and brings elasticity to muscles.
